If you have a number of domain names with different extensions and you would like all of them to open the exact same Internet site, you can have the Internet site under one of them and redirect all the rest. There are several ways to redirect one domain name to another, like the so-called domain parking. When your website hosting package permits it, though, it will be better if you host all of the domains and set up a URL redirect, not a domain redirect. The main difference between the two is that while a domain is hosted, you can still have content for it, create subdomains, email addresses, etc., while with a parked domain you are unable to do any of those things. For instance, if you're building localized websites under various country-code Internet domain names, you will be able to work on them, but meanwhile, visitors shall be forwarded to the primary Internet site.
